AutoValuation 2.0 – Property Valuation Form Redesign
We redesigned the valuation form to reduce drop-offs, improve data accuracy, and increase response rate from 20% to 40%.
Redesign the valuation form to improve data accuracy, and increase response rate
Through Google Analytics, the Loft México team identified high drop-off rates in version 1.5 of the AutoValuation form.
Only 20% of users completed the property valuation because personal data was requested upfront.
Additionally, users were entering fake data, and address accuracy was an issue.
Teams involved: Product, Engineering, Sales, Onboarding, Supoort, Marketing.
Goal
-
Increase form completion rate.
-
Reduce friction in the data entry process.
-
Improve accuracy of collected information.
-
Strengthen user privacy and data protection.
AutoValuation 2.0 introduced key changes:
-
The form was split into 3 steps:
1. Property address
2. Features and amenities
3. Personal information
-
Contact data was requested at the end.
-
Google API + “use my location” button added.
-
Backend validations restricted fake entries.
-
Numerical inputs were required for more accurate data.
