Tauros aimed to improve its mobile application by offering more advanced cryptocurrency features, while keeping the experience accessible to all users.

Based on feedback and strategic KPIs, the team prioritized two new features: Limit Orders and Transfers via Polygon and Ethereum networks.

These enhancements were designed to increase user engagement and time spent within the app.

Goal

  • Increase user engagement and retention in the mobile app

  • Enable expert-level functionalities without increasing complexity

  • Improve the experience of managing crypto funds and transactions

  • Provide greater control over trading and transfer operations

What was done?

Two new features were designed and implemented:

 

  1. Limit Orders

     

    • Users could create or accept buy/sell orders on the market

    • Makers set the price; takers accept it

    • Everything happens within the app, with an intuitive UI
       

  2. Blockchain Transfers (Polygon & Ethereum)

     

    • When funding or withdrawing crypto, users could choose their preferred network

    • Screens were added to explain the difference in commission

    • Users could see and select their preferred commission rate

  • Market research and competitor audit

  • Co-definition of technical feasibility with backend team

  • User flows and UI focused on clarity and reducing friction

  • Design of new components and screens integrated into the design system
